Read moreStopped into Kismet Bagels while in Philly for a conference and was impressed. It’s easy to find a bagel, but much harder to find one that’s both high quality and offers thoughtful vegan choices.
I ordered an everything bagel, lightly toasted, with vegan scallion cream cheese. The bagel itself had the right balance of chew and structure, and the spread was flavorful without being overwhelming. Simple, but very well executed.
Took it across the street to the park and it made for an ideal low-key breakfast.
Would absolutely return on a future visit. If you’re looking for a reliable vegan-friendly bagel spot in Philadelphia, this is worth a stop.

For a shop that small, they have a great vegan offering! I am a bagel purist so I kept it simple by ordering an everything bagel with their vegan spread and it didn’t disappoint.

They have stockeld brand of vegan cc, which is very good. I got the scallion on a sesame bagel. The bagel was just ok, surprisingly cold for an early morning bagel.

the bagel sandwiches were MESSY. don't recommend trying to walk and eat, they load so much spread onto them that everything kind of slides apart. not my favorite vegan cream cheese i've had in the city, but happy there's an option
