Big portions but I really didn't like one of my dishes

We ordered the almuerzo. The soup was nice and full of veggies but it lacked a lot of flavour. The main, I really didn't like and I couldnt finish it which was disappointing. It definitely could have just been on that day though!

Good food, low prices

There is only one menu option, like a daily menu, but it is good and tasty. I had rice, vegan 'meat' with vegetables and a salad and a juice. Just for 5 dollar. The owners are really nice and speak some English. Dont be put off by the looks of the restaurant, it looks simple. I would recommend.

Pros: Cheap, Big portion

Cons: Looks simple

Only one option: menu of the day

Which was really good, it consisted of a drink (juice, water or tea/ coffee), soup, salad and a main dish for $6.
Also the pickles made of agave flowers was delicious.
One star less because I heard the waiter say to other guests there's two options, vegetarian menu of the day or one with chicken.

Good find for Latacunga!

Got a soup, salad, tea and main course for $5. Owner speaks good English and is very knowledgeable of veganism. Food is simple, but tasty.

Ok

I had the menu del dia which was a soup, side of veg, a noodle dish, and juice. The veg and soup were not flavoursome, but the noodles were great.
I was charged $5 which seemed steep, but I didn't question it. Previous review here says $3.5 for set lunch.

Vegan and Vegetarian Restaurant

This family owned restaurant was closest to our hostel (cafe tiana). I had a soy burger and it was really good! They have a menu of the day option but it was pretty late and I was only looking for a snack. Despite the one review saying they serve meat, I can say this is completely incorrect. This restaurant is 100% veggie with vegan options.

Pros: Nice family owned restaurant, good burger & cheap

Cons: None!

accidentally vegan

This place is owned by an indigenous nutritionist, who likes to share his knowledge. They have fix menus. The day I went the menu was accidentally vegan, but I saw on the week plan that they also serve chicken and tuna, which is a pity.
The dishes were super delicious (soup, salad, main for 3.50$).
In case the menu is not vegan it can be adapted.

Pros: cheap, knowledgeable owner, delicious

Cons: not even vegetarian
