Freundlich und gut - Edit
Die vegane Bratwurst ist lecker und wird auf einem extra Grill gebraten. Der Kartoffelsalat ist ebenfalls vegan. In dieser für Veganer schwierigen Region bin ich dafür sehr dankbar gewesen.

We planned an activity nearby so that we could have lunch there. After waiting in line for 10 minutes, we were told at the counter that there was no vegan sausage due to delivery problems (why not cross it out on the display?). Alternatively, there was an extra menu with 5 further meat dishes. They don't even offer fries.
Read moreThis was frustrating, but actually to be expected. The region ("Rhön") is pretty much the antichrist when it comes to veganism.
The potato salad is labeled "vegetarian" on the sign. I wouldn't trust the staff if they said it was vegan. For many here, "vegan" means no visible chunks of meat.
Anyone planning day trips in the countryside here should definitely pack enough food for themselves.

Wir hatten uns hier wirklich nichts erhofft und uns schon im vorhinein mit Pommes zufriedengegeben (die es dort übrigens NICHT gibt, da sie in dem Gebäude aus irgendwelchen Gründen nichts frittieren dürfen) und da war es eine wirklich schöne Überraschung, zu sehen, dass es hier vegane Bratwurst gibt!
Read moreDer Kartoffelsalat ist auch vegan, auch wenn das Schild sagt, dass er vegetarisch ist. Wir haben nochmal nachgefragt und es handelt sich um so einen Kartoffelsalat mit Brühe und ohne Mayo.
Die Wurst ist auf Seitanbasis und schmeckte lecker. Außerdem gab es Ketchup.
