Many vegan options, middling-to-good quality

Kinsahi is one of the more vegan-friendly restaurants at Mid Valley Southkey (though not nearly as good as BMS Organics downstairs).

It has a separate vegetarian menu with practically endless selections, though the majority contain egg. Fortunately there are still plenty of plant-based options: Most of the many items on the printed vegetarian menu that don’t display the egg icon are vegan-friendly, but the severs don’t necessarily know the difference between “vegetarian” and “vegan,” so be sure to ask clearly whether each item marked egg-free contains milk or dairy products. (Note that unfortunately the tablet-based digital menu used for ordering at the table doesn’t display the egg icon, but you can ask for a printed copy of the vegetarian menu to refer to while considering your selections.)

Flavors and textures range from good (e.g. vegan sushi options) to mediocre (e.g. veg tempura). For healthier (and less oily) options, you might want to stick closer to the sushi, sea vegetable salad, soups, and some of the rice/noodles dishes.

As good as full vegetarian dining

The Japanese cusine selection is huge and it’s tasty too! Even thought it’s a restaurant that serves meat dishes, it provides a standalone menu with about 10 pages of vegetarian options. Food is served fast and very tasty. It’s one of the rare restaurants which we can find such great selection of vegetarian Japanese cuisine! Wonderful!

Pros: Vegetarian Japanese Curry Rice, Vegetarian Unagi Don, Vegetarian Fried Okura

Good spread of vegetarian options

Good variety of vegetarian options for greenies. Great place to introduce vegetarian items to non-vegetarians as they have both menus available.

If you are a vegetarian must try tofu

They have an entire menu for vegetarians. If you can dine in a restaurant that serves non veg options and also vegetarian options please try their tofu. I don’t understand how they can make it so delicious. Tofu tempura wrapped with seaweed with a dash of cheese sauce. Delicious!

A relief find for vegan/vegetarian

There are not many options available in the malls and this chain of Japan restaurants is a great relief for us! Plentiful choices in a menu of its own!

Great veg-options

The service staff informed on long waiting time about 30-40mins at the beginning.

Menu options is wide I would say considering it comes from a non-veg restaurant.
Overall pleasant experience and the food are good.
