Matcha soft serve not vegan. - Edit
Info on here led me to believe that the matcha soft serve was vegan friendly but it is not. I asked if it has milk and staff confirmed that it did.

Soybean Warabimochi! - Edit
I really enjoyed the soybean warabimochi. It was simple but really enjoyable. Not much else to say, but I think you will like it.

Perfectly fine desserts - Edit
The desserts at Kinosaki Kinako - “KinoKoro” are nothing special, but it’s worth noting as the only place in town with easy vegan sweets.
Read moreWe had the Warabimochi and the Dango, both in Kinako flavour with a side of red beans. They were soft and sweet, with that dry, rough and cinnamony Kinako texture. The red beans complemented the flavour perfectly.
A word of warning. KinoKoro doesn’t go out of their way to be vegan, and most likely isn’t aware that’s why we were drawn there. Please be sure to double check the vegan status of your food before ordering.
