Egyptian Restaurant

We enjoyed our visit to King Tut. They have a small vegan selection (basically two items and French fries), but all three are pretty tasty. The bowl with lentils, macaroni noodles, tomato sauce, and spices is a hearty meal. Overall, it is a quaint neighborhood place. It is pricey though.

Pros: Flavors, Taste

Cons: Prices, Hours are pretty limited

Nice surprise!

My friend found this randomly on Google Maps, and they have clearly marked vegan options:
Fouleplate (fava beans)
Falafel
Koshari (rice, lentils, macaroni with fried onions and delicious sauces)
fries and pickles.

I got the fava and koshari mint tea. It’s enough to take back for another meal. Highly recommend!!

Pros: Clearly marked vegan options , Flavors, Service

authentic takeout flavors and filling portions

The Akhnaton Bowl (Koshari) was filling and zesty and made for two meals, especially with a side of fries. The fresh lemon juice and herbs and spices set the meal apart. Perfectly packed for eating lunch at the park.
