I highly recommend this restaurant. In addition to a variety of Asian dishes, they have Indian that is absolutely delicious. Plus, all mains are served with basmati rice, so there's no extra charge for it.
Although vegan dishes aren't specifically listed on the menu, talk to the owner and he will walk you through it. We had Red Lentil Dal and Vegetable Jalfrezi, both gluten-free, nut-free vegan.
I seriously wished I had two stomachs, just so I could keep eating. Some of the best Indian we've had in New Zealand.

Great vegan options - Edit
King Tiger made us awesome vegan green curry and pad thai. Edamame was also very tasty! The kitchen and the staff are really nice, ask for vegan otions!
