Inclusive Vegan Chinese - Edit
I usually order delivery from King Kong -- and have never had a problem with the drivers who come right to my front door. The menu has a wide array of options - my favorites are the salt & pepper tofu (extra jalapeños and garlic, please!) which is perfectly golden, crispy on the outside and tender inside. It doesn't taste fishy like other neighborhood Chinese restaurants -- so hoping that means they just keep fresh oil or the fish are fried separately.
Read moreThe garlic broccoli, dry fried string beans and other veggies are pretty tasty. I get the mu shu veggie (no egg!) and it comes with a generous pile of rice wrappers. The veggie meat analog dishes are hit or miss - the chicken-analog are strange spheres like they were scooped with a melon baller (not a fan of the kung pao - too much celery). The veggie beef is pretty good though - get it spicy (no celery!).
They cook without MSG - and the kitchen while spartan - seems clean and the folks are all pretty nice thought the dining area is a bit shabby. They seem to have a buffet during the day but I've never been there to see it!
Pros: Salt & Pepper Tofu, General Tso's Vegetarian Chicken, Mu Shu Veggie (hold the egg!)
