This place has great falafel, and you can get the falafel sandwich in pita bread or you can get a falafel bento set with pita bread for take-out. You have the option for whole wheat pita bread as well.
If you're looking for some authentic middle-eastern food when in the Minami-Azabu area, check out this great "hole-in-the-wall". Simple but very tasty options.
Absolutely delicious falafel sandwich. I first went there on 21/6/16. King falafel only has one option, the falafel sandwich. However, you can order a half sandwich or a full one, and specify whole wheat pitta or plain. The bread is fresh and the sandwich is slightly spicy, not dry, and has crunchy falafels. Probably the best falafel shop in Tokyo.
The opening times on the shutter clearly stated 11am. However, the owner came 15 minutes late, and then made me wait in the rain for a further 20 minutes for her to open her shop before I could order.
Fantastic falafel. Just the right amount of spicy punch and not dry. Generous portions and low price. Website is in Japanese but google will translate for you. Not super close to the metro but located in a nice area so makes for a pleasant walk. Benches on the sidewalk in front of the shop.Tokyo needs a few hundred more of these shops.
