We had vegetarian Döner (w/ Tofu) an fries which both was quite good (definitely better than an average vegetarian Döner). You can choose between grilled vegetables, Tofu und Seitan as topping. #Veganuary

Wir waren nun schon öfters im King Döner essen. Es gibt drei verschiedene vegane Optionen: Döner mit Tofu, mit Seitan und mit gegrilltem Gemüse. Alle schmecken wirklich gut. Ich finde es nur etwas teuer, der Seitan Döner z. B. kostet 8€. Leider kennen sich die wechselnden Mitarbeiter nicht wirklich mit der veganen Ernährung aus. Jedesmal musste ich gut aufpassen, dass der vegane Döner dann auch wirklich vegan war. Entweder wollten sie eine nicht vegane Sauce darauf geben, oder zusammen mit dem Salat landete Feta Käse mit im Döner. Ich habe es immer klar kommuniziert, dass der Döner vegan sein muss. Das fand ich nicht gut und passierte tatsächlich jedes Mal. Ich rate zu schauen, was sie rein machen. Ansonsten war es lecker.

Vegan Döner with original taste - Edit
Döner is available with Tofu or Seitan. It was prepared freshly and really tasty, staff was friendly too. Next time I will try one of the vegan plate dishes. It's great to have a street food original as a vegan version!

Seitan-Döner was okay - Edit
We went for the Seitan-Döner which was okay, but a little bit pricy (8€ each). We would go there again to check out the other dishes.

Good place for late night munching or just something yummy. - Edit
It’s really satisfying, straightforward grub. There aren’t many comfort food joints around here that have properly tasty vegan options. This place does. The seitan is tasty (I always go for this) the tofu is plain with a spice herb rub. The owner and his staff are nice.
