VK Burger - Edit
I have had VK burger chips and mushroom “meat”. It’s delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant is really nice and comfy to sit and service is friendly too. Found my Tuesday lunch spot 👍🏽

Honey - Edit
I was very disappointed when the owner of the restaurant offered me honey with my ginger tea, I was hoping for it to be vegan honey, so I kindly asked which brand of honey he was using & he told me it was Manuka honey, so I asked why he would sell honey in a “fully vegan restaurant”, his explanation was that he gets it from a small African village that assured him to treat the bees well & without any form of exploitation…
Read moreWhen I challenged him about the core meaning of being an ethical vegan & refusing to consume any animal product, he suddenly became very defensive saying that he was giving people an option & that honey is good for you & stopped talking to me, ignoring my arguments. I feel like I have a duty of care towards other fellow ethical vegans going there to eat & wrongly assuming that they will eat vegan honey when offered.
Pros: The lentils , The ginger tea
Cons: Honey offered by the owner of the restaurant

Don't get me wrong, it's ok. - Edit
First of all: nice guy, 100% vegan menu, very clean and very reasonably priced but:
Read moreThe food was cold, dry and uninspiring.
The service seemed a bit unorganized as he asked three times what we had.
If you have to eat something, go for the porriage or the waffle, they were ok.

Healthy vegan treats - Edit
I tried the fruit pizza which was so good, not too sweet, you can tell it's healthy, and lots of fruit. Definitely need to go back to try the crepes!

Both sweet and savoury dishes! - Edit
The name was misleading — they have a gorgeous savoury menu as well that was rich, flavourful, based around veggies! Very refreshing to have a clean meal at a restaurant and then finish it off with lush desserts! The owners are so lovely and welcoming, I’ll be here often!

A little gem in nw2! - Edit
I came here last week with a friend who lives local. Neither of us are vegan or plant based but she had recommended the food from ordering there previously. Very tasty, great sized portions. I had bbq butter bean and quinoa and a cashew olive and kale salad. My friend had a lentil curry with rice and an avocado salad. Chocolate cake and muffins with homemade custard for desert. Lovely small savoury menu which means the chef can concentrate on the dishes. Great friendly service. I would recommend. I do wonder about the name though- I wouldn’t have known about savoury dishes unless my friend had said- so maybe some marketing about this. Lovely venue, very clean and lovely space out the back. Would definitely recommend and would return. What a gem in Cricklewood!!!
