Lovely and yummy food - Edit
I go here almost every two other weeks after salsa dancing. I really enjoy the food and it’s a great place aswell when you’re with non-vegans ♥️

Really good food (especially loved the vegan nem!), chill atmosphere and nice staff. Pretty much half of the menu is veggie/vegan so a great place to go to with people that aren’t vegan.
Read moreThe balance on my partners main meal was a bit off though (a whole lot of salad compared to the amount of protein). Luckily my meal was balanced but I think it’s worth noting.
Desserts differed from the ones that were on the menu but the staff was very knowledgable on what was vegan or not. So if you’re not sure you can ask!

I tried their vegan 'rijsttafel', which consisted of various small portions of their vegan dishes. It was quite nice, especially the eggplant and the noodles. The fried springrolls were tasty, but not as crispy as I expected (like they were a bit old?).
Read moreUnfortunately, they didn't add a protein source in my dish, so it was only carbs and veggies. Btw, their 1-person rijsttafel is big enough to eat with 2 people.

This place is so great. Both me (a vegetarian), my cousin (a vegan) and my mom (a meat eater) were all very satisfied. The location is also truly amazing, right by the water.

They have a fully vegan menu and the food is simply delicious! My friend and I got the fried tofu as starters and I got the fresh self-made rice paper rolls with faux meat as a main. Both dishes were really good and filling. The faux meat was super well seasoned and the rice paper rolls came with rice noodles, fresh mint leaves and koriander, the faux meat, lettuce leaves and cucumber. The inside of the restaurant looks super nice and the service is relatively fast. I would only advise you to make a reservation in case you are planning to go for dinner on a Friday or Saturday. Anyways, Totally recommend this place to all the vegans and non-vegans out there! :)

I've had dinner a number of times at Kimmade, including as part of a large group. Each time, the food has been wonderful and the staff have been charming, friendly and efficient. There are lots of vegan options, but the ones I keep coming back for are the Green papaya salad and the fresh spring rolls. Utterly delicious, and perfect for a summer's day! In warmer months it's also possible to sit outside along the Oudegracht.

Verstopt, Vietnamees en vegan! - Edit
Van de week op CS Utrecht en op zoek naar een (veg) plekje om even snel wat te eten. Ik had een afspraak in de buurt van de St. Jacobsstraat en twijfelde tussen de nieuwe SLA (Hoog Catharijne) en Kimmade, voor mij toen nog onbekend. Uiteindelijk én gelukkig toch voor de laatste gekozen.
Read moreHet was even zoeken bij de Oude Gracht maar wat een traktatie; :D Ze hebben namelijk naast de gewone kaart een uitgebreide vegan menukaart! Het eten was heerlijk, de bediening snel, het personeel zeer attent en vriendelijk en het restaurant heeft (ondanks dat het in een werfkelder zit) een ruimtelijke uitstraling.
Een Vietnamees pareltje waar ze mij zeker nog vaker zullen gaan zien!
Pros: Uitgebreide vegan kaart , Servicegericht personeel, Verse ingrediënten
Cons: Drukbezocht, dus wel even reserveren
