No longer fully veg! 😥

We have been coming here since they opened and love the food and prices! Unfortunately they are no longer vegan or even just vegetarian. They have a vegan menu but also an Omni menu now 😥

Unpretentious and tasty!

I was really surprised by how good some of this food was. The place is next to a gas station and is unpretentious but welcoming. The portions were huge and the prices inexpensive. The shredded pork fresh rolls had an unexpected kick to them, so take note if you are dining with children. The menu is a little confusing because it will say something like “vegetarian crepe with vegan ham and tofu”, which to me meant that perhaps the crepe itself was not vegan. The waiter assured me it was fully vegan, which I was glad before, because the Vietnamese crepe is probably my favorite dish!

Newly Vegan Restaurant

This place is killin it with the dishes, similar to Blossom Vegetarian. Way less expensive. So far have tried their pho (chikn), their pork vermicelli bowl, pad thai (chikn) and fresh rolls.

Pros: Fresh, Almost all vegan (besides chefs special dishes), Great prices

Cons: Small parking lot, Very popular in turn longer wait times.

Great portions for the price

Be careful not to mix this up with kim phuong vietnamese restaurant. We accidentally typed that in first in the gps. They had so many vegan options it was great. Loved that the curry had taro in it. Could have used rice or noodles with it though. The pork skewer had soo much flavor, unlike any we’ve tried before. Cheap for a large city restaurant.

Pros: Great prices, Mock meat

Cons: Good variety

Humble No Frills Establishment

No waitstaff or host, cook takes your order and seats you so expect delays in service. Appetizers were slightly charred and greasy. The sauces for both the potstickers and pad Thai were untraditional and unexpected. Very large portions for entree and humble prices. Very low budget value if you expect no frills.

Pros: Unusual flavor palates, Price, Portion Size

Cons: No Waitstaff, Wait Time, Slightly charred & greasy appetizers

Great vegan options!

We just tried the vegan pork spring rolls, Banh Mi sandwich and the curry. Everything tasted so fresh and so so good. The curry has sweet potato and tofu in it and just the right amount of spice. Definitely going back to try more!

I’m Spoiled

Vietnamese food is my favorite cuisine and I’m absolutely spoiled to live in the Seattle area where Vietnamese restaurants are abundant. I noticed about a month ago that this vegan restaurant appeared on the Cow and knew that I had to have it. It’s not that far from me but far enough to have delayed me from trying it for this long.

There’s nothing like fresh spring rolls to me. The fresh veggies along with the peanut sauce is heavenly.

In total, i ordered fresh spring rolls, egg rolls, Bun Bo (spicy noodle soup), and a banh mi to go. Everything was off the charts. Egg rolls were good and so was the sauce with it, the noodle soup was great and came with plenty accompaniments. You already know how I feel about the spring rolls. I ate the banh mi later and it was great as well.

I urge you to try this restaurant. It’s up there with the vegan/vegetarian offerings in the area. Not only that but it’s DIRT cheap. Everything I ordered came to $25.

Tasty and Reasonably Priced

We started with potstickers and got the Chow Mien and Pad Thai with veggie beef. Everything was good and we will definitely come back. For an appetizer, two meals, a lemonade and young coconut water it was just 36$.

Pros: Good food, Nice host , Good prices

Cons: Off the beaten path (unless you live in Renton)
