Lovely stay - Edit
Stayed here overnight before catching ferry to Mull. We booked a table for dinner and it was very busy. There were 2 vegan option for starters and 2 for mains. We tried both mains and they were delicious. More importantly the staff have a very clear understanding of vegan needs. My husband wanted the vegetable side dish which came buttered and the lovely waitress knew immediately that they could use vegan butter or basil oil instead. It’s a little thing but it’s important to us! Breakfast the next day was just perfect, the staff explained the vegan options for the full Scottish breakfast and it was delightful: haggis, potato scones, mushrooms and sausages. Vegan butter for our toast was delivered without us asking. Our room was lovely and cosy and we slept so well. A lovely little oasis ‘in the middle of nowhere’ offering fantastic food and a calm friendly atmosphere. Loved it!!

Tasty vegan! - Edit
Cute remote venue in the Scottish Highlands with vegan options on the menu. We enjoyed the veg burger (the tastiest vegetable burger I've had!) and risotto. They said the brioche bun wasn't vegan so made a bun out of toasted sourdough bread which was really tasty and showed consideration for us vegans! The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly too so we had a lovely time.

Lovely - Edit
Had a nice meal, they had one clearly marked vegan option on dinner menu (sweet potato and bean chilli) which was lovely. No vegan options on dessert menu but asked and had amazing vegan rasperry icecream 🍨 defo worth a visit if youre near by and staff are lovely too and really helpful.

Vegan options in a remote location - Edit
We were staying nearby and called to see whether they could accommodate us as vegans. They had a vegan entree, which we didn't try, as well as a veganizable burger (skip the bun), which we did (good). Also had the roasted tomato soup (also good) and a green salad, which was extremely fresh. The soup did come with some buttered bread, but it was cheerfully replaced. They did not have a vegan dessert on the menu but offered to do some sorbet with berries, and it was delightful. Also advised on whisky. Cute pub with fireplace, bar, tables, and booths. Modern look but with vintage pictures on the walls. Friendly and helpful staff.
