Serves meat, vegan options available. Casual cafe. Has a small food menu that includes some vegetarian items. Coffee, salads, baguettes, and soup. Live music some times, art exhibit. Open Mon-Fri 10:00-19:00, Sat 10:00-17:00.
Although Kilau has a selection of vegan food, it’s all just really bland. The only vegan dish that could pass as slightly alright is the pesto sandwich. The service is OK, however, and that’s only reason why I’m giving two stars instead of one.
coffee and other hot drinks are amazing, and the cake is good. their food is perhaps slightly overpriced for what it is (ie baguette), however this shouldn’t take away from the quality. very tasty, just not a suitable option for students every day.
solid selection of vegan baguettes and three dreamy bread choices (white, brown and *sourdough*) top quality vegan pesto, all the m*lks a girl could ask for, three vegan cakes on offer when I went - brownie was hella chewy and vego chocolate bars to deal with that Aberdeen weather
The vegan brownie is just amazing!! Has quite many vegan cake options (range varies every day), which all taste delicious! They also offer a vegan sandwich, salad, the soup of the day is vegan, plant milk options, nakd bars. Lovely cafe on campus, tends to be really busy in the breaks between lectures

This place is in the part of town that I am told is called Old Aberdeen, its pretty nice. Its surrounded by buildings that are part of Aberdeen University.
The food menu doesn't have a great deal on it, 4 sandwiches, a couple of salads, 1 pasta and one soup. The soup was vegan when I went as was one of the sandwiches and one of the salads. I had the soup and the humus and veg on toasted focacia bread, both were great. I also had a delicious raspberry and mango smoothie.
Its hardly the biggest choice of vegan items in the world but choice in Aberdeen is hardly the greatest. What they did offer was nice in a nice location by nice people. I'd go back again.
Not as vegan friendly as I had hoped when I went for a sit in lunch. But I have recently discovered they're doing a vegan fruit cake. The cake was moist and very tasty. Lets hope it's a sign of things to come.

Hectic place - Edit
Lunch time this place is quite busy and noisy. Good food, but not really big portion, I felt hungry afterwards.
