Asian fusion in Aarhus

They have a separate section of the menu with vegetarian and vegan dishes, however, they use oyster sauce in shrimp paste even in vegetarian dishes - make sure to be careful while ordering.
The restaurant is really nice and the atmosphere was lovely, but the food was slightly underwhelming.

Pros: the atmosphere

Cons: the price (for the portion size / quality of food)

You gotta love tofu

All the vegan mains involve tofu, and I ask the waitor for the course with the must tasty/well-cooked tofu, as it need to be well prepared for me liking tofu.
I got the deep fried tofu for the starter, the fried sides were great, but the chunks were so big, so they had a a big middle of boring tofu. For the main I got the recommened course with fried tofu, here the pieces were smaller, however it seem it had been marinated and fried in big chunks, and then cut afterwards, so again the main part og the tofu was not that tasty, and for this course different mushrooms would have been fine by me instaed of non-tasty tofu.
Otherwise great fresh veggies and delicious coconut ice cream.

Pros: More vegan options, Possible to get three courses vegan

Cons: Assuming all costumers speak English

Really tasty pad Thai and spring roll

Remember to ask for the vegan pad thai, so they don’t use fish-sauce

Nice place, decent food, good service

Despite my dislike for restaurants where people are swarming the entrance to pick up deliveries, once seated it's a very nice restaurant with very attentive and friendly staff. We had booked the bed table, where you sit on a firm mattress with a bunch of pillows, surrounded by curtains. Even though the nearby patrons were rather loud, it made the experience a bit more secluded and special. The food was good without being extraordinary - I would probably come back for the place more so than the food - but come back I will. My omni partner ordered the red curry with tofu instead of chicken. I stuck to the vegetarian/vegan menu and clarified that the food should be vegan, since their menu states that you should express so clearly, to avoid fish sauce, etc. in your food.

Pros: Nice place with a good atmosphere, Friendly and attentive staff, Vegan/vegetarian section of the menu

Cons: Loud (or we were just unlucky with the neighbours), Very, very busy just as you enter
