great choice - Edit

I catched a vegan omelette and plenty of veggies and sallad. Their salad buffet is just fanstic, just order your meal and let them serve you the veggie salads mix. The place is cozy, the staff friendly and a great choice to order. I will go back there

Great café - Edit

I keep coming back to this place for salad cravings. Fresh ingredients and flavorsome salads to a decent price. The place is lovely to sit outside of in the summer and spring, cozy location in Kreuzberg.

Pros: Fresh salads, Lots of variety

Cons: Quite small place

Fresh and tasty - Edit

We had the large ‘Kiez’ breakfast (12 types of salad) and a vegetable fritter. The homemade, gluten-free bread was especially good, and the salads were fresh, tasty and plentiful. Very friendly service and good coffee. Will come again!

Turkish kitchen. - Edit

Like middle-eastern people, this little restaurant is very warm and welcoming.
I had a lovely breakfast of pizza with egg-plant and cabbage (i think....), a plate of various salads and drank a hot chocolate. All together, the meal was excellent.

Pros: Delicious food.

Cons: Don't speak english and have no english menu. So i

Pros: Comida turca rica y casera , Personal agradable

Cons: Huele la ropa a comida bastante

great food! - Edit

It's a good place with delicious food - a salad plate with a Gemüse-Puffer and avocado dressing was maybe not extraordinary, but really decent. The salads had in the turkish fashion a lot of flavours and the puffer had a great (puffy) consistency and deep flavour, and the dressing, not dominating the flavour, emphasised the character of the dish. The staff is also very friendly, however their English is not top notch - though definitely enough to order what you really want to have. One big minus is the lack of bathroom, it would be a five star if they had them!

Pros: food, friendly staff

Cons: lack of toilet

rbrimel 29 Jan 2018 - Hello don.banano. They have toilet but you have to ask. They give you the keys and you have to go to another door outside the place. It was clean.

vegan and turkish at the same time? - Edit

Salad heaven - Edit

Just let them throw all their salads on a mixed plate for you. I promise you won't regret it.

Soup was good too.

The pide was a bit dry. I'm also not sure about the selection of beans in it. I felt it was under seasoned compared to a traditional meat containing pide.

Just eat the salads until you drop :)

Delicious salad plates - Edit

You can order a small or large plate and choose as many salads as you want. I had all of them and they were all delicious. The large plate is more than enough for 2! They also have a variety of snacks and desserts. I had a vegan calzone which was good and berry cobbler type dessert that was amazing. All for very cheap.

Pros: Variety, Inexpensive, Delicious

Cons: None

Lots of salads - Edit

It's a nice place to have lunch. You can order a small or a big plate, and choose all the salads you want. At least half of them are gluten-free. Staff is friendly. I had a smoothie that was a bit bland though. Food is not extraordinary but good enough for lunch, and their terrasse is very enjoyable on a sunny day.

Totally Good, Totally Worth a Visit - Edit

I ended up here after Viasko was closed, and although it is completely different, save for being vegan, I was really happy I ended up here. They have a good selection of pizzas, flatbreads, and salads for lunch and dinner and make smoothies and coffees, etc. I had a personal pizza topped with tomato, mushroom and onion that was super-tasty (3.50€) and a small salad (5.50€) that was actually a small plate with any number of the prepared salads I wanted. I had a mix of couscous, lentils, roasted potatoes, tabouleh... It was all really yum and a great portion. They have some seating inside and some patio tables outside. There was a bit of frustration at my lack of speaking German, but we ended up managing fine through pantomiming/pointing.

Pros: great food, excellent value, outside seating

great salad selection - Edit

I've been to both the Merringdamm and sudstern branches of Kiez Vegan and liked both. The salad selection is really good and the boreks are nothing short of delicious. The atmosphere isn't fantastic but the staff are nice (the guy at the sudstern branch seems perpetually sad, like Eeyore, but is super sweet).

Pros: Good quality salad selection, delicious baked goods, nice staff

Cons: if you go late the salad runs out, decor could be more homely

My favorite lunch go-to place - Edit

I live around the corner from Kiez Vegan and love to go there for lunch! Everything is so fresh. Salad plates are a delicious mix of 12 different kinds of salads and the small plate is big enough to satisfy me... also the price is right! 5.50€ for a salad plate..you can't complain with that! Also glad all the baked goods are made with spelt flour ...better for me as I have an issue with wheat ;-)

Pros: 100% vegan , Baked goods made with spelt flour!

Super tasty and inexpensive! - Edit

We had a gemuse puffer (fried potato based galette) with three different side salads and a stuffed bread. Everything was really tasty and for 8€50 you can't go wrong. Definitely recommend this place if you're around the neighborhood! We will try to come back before we leave to try other dishes.

Vika Annefors 28 Jul 2016 - The fried puffer was so oily we used 3 napkins to dry it up. The rest was rather tasteless. I always wonder how can personal preferences be so different.
