Serves meat, vegan options available. Typical Italian restaurant on the waterfront serves a pizza called Il Vegano (The Vegan) plus a penne with tomato sauce and basil that is vegan. It has vegan sides like roast potatoes and grilled vegetables. Great option as there really aren't many in Santa Margherita. Open Mon-Sun 19:00-21:00.

Yummy meal - Edit
The vegan pizza was awesome. It had some olive, pepper, and artichoke spreads on it in addition to the veggies!

Vegan option in Santa Margherita Ligure - Edit
It’s not easy to find vegan options in Santa Margherita other than the classic insalata mista and grilled veggies. This is a decent vegan pizza made especially interesting with the artichoke “cream”. Definitely worth trying.

It offers an option to eat for Vegan - Edit
General Napoletan style Pizzeria, as every other pizzeria it offers an easy chance to eat for Vegans beacuse in every pizzeria in Italy you can ask whatever ingredient you want/don't want on the pizza ( maybe you didn't know that😉) .
Read moreThey also have a vegan pizza in the menu, that's nice but unfortunately It doesn't look apetizing at all, or to say It better, it's more a Focaccia than a Pizza, so I ordered asking for the ingredients I wanted.
You can choose between a traditional PIZZA or the less known version called PINSA, rectangular shaped and higher dough as you can see from the one in my picture.
It must be said that the dough was very good and they seem to use fresh ingredients.
Pros: The dough Is well made, Fresh ingredients, It saves a vegan meal ust as every other pizzeria
Cons: Their vegan proposal doesn't look apetizing, For vegans it's Just a regular wherever pizzeria

Delicious pizza - Edit
The restaurant got full around 8pm so i decided to have takeway. I did not mind waiting for 20min and had a stroll round the harbour. The pizza was delicious, the base was thin and tasted so good with so many sauces and toppings on it. The best pizza I had in Italy so far, i was very pleased with my choice and would go back, especially that there are not many other choices.

Awful service, dont recommend. - Edit
We chose this restaurant because there were no other options. We immediately noticed how rude the manager was to his staff, and it influenced our staying there a lot.
Read moreThere were no pasta options on a menu, they made spaghetti with tomato sauce.
Haven't tried pizza, but I won't go there again.
They took your plate away even if you were not finished with the food, they asked us to leave when it was 15 min before closing..
Pros: -
Cons: Rude manager, Poor vegan choices on menu

Most disappointing. - Edit
Really awful service. Rude agressive waiter. He had no idea about the vegan pizza. It was a sad excuse for a pizza. No tomato paste. Very little vegetables. All base and paltry dressings. I finished before my partner and THREE waiters tried to take my plate away.

Cons: Bad, really bad service, Ignorance about what vegans eat

La Vegana Pizza - Must try! - Edit
This pizza is amazing. The dough is freshly made and rises for 72 hours. The vegetable toppings are room temperature and mostly puréed (red peppers, artichokes, olives) with grilled zucchini on top. I asked for arugula (Aka rocket) on top.
