Serves meat, vegan options available. Khmer restaurant and cooking class. You pay for the dishes that you cook and you can choose from at menu. All but one dish can be cooked/ordered vegan or vegetarian. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-4:00pm.

Great place, great food, great staff

This cozy little family owned restaurant is on the way to Kampot's La Plantation, so if you're going to visit this pepper farm this stop should be a must! When asked if any of dishes could be veganized the owner/chef explained that most of the curries and some other dishes could be. Then he offered us to cook our own meal with their instructions, so it's basically a cooking class where you only pay for the food! We made two different curries with freshly ground curry paste, fresh veggies and fresh coconut milk made on site. The older lady literally shredded some coconut and then squeezed it to make the milk in front of us. They were all really nice and helpful, explained about the ingredients and answered all the questions. You could also just watch them make the meal if you're curious about making the food but don't want to do it yourself. Overall really tasty food with fresh ingredients and you can see there aren't any animal products near your dish (some other people were also cooking with us, making a curry with meat and although the base was essentially the same, we used different pots and pans). Really really recommend!!! (would give 5 stars, but it's only possible for all vegetarian/vegan restaurants)
