Average Indian Restaurant - Edit
This restaurant serve many vegetarian and vegan dishes. Price is moderate. But restaurant is a bit dirty as in India. Food in very common, sometimes is not tasty. Average restaurant in Kata Beach.

Expensive by Thai standards - Edit
Khan baba is one of few restaurants in Kata that has a vegetarian section on its menu but it's targeted at tourists and it's quite expensive for Thailand. I would go up to Patak road and find a Thai restaurant and see if they can make something for you. This restaurant is not on Kata road itself but off a side street across from Dome Resort.

Good Indian and Thai from separate all-veg kitchen - Edit
We have eaten there several times.
Covered open-air dining on a relatively quiet street.
Good Indian and also Thai selections, curries, noodles, rice, even veg nan and other breads.
Not a health place per se, no brown rice, etc. but good veggies and we appreciate the separate kitchen for the preparation of veg options.
Pros: Good selection of veg options, Separate kitchen for veg food
Cons: Could have more healthy choices

Мы с мужем заказали томатный суп, овощной суп и - панир палак (шпинат с сыром). Каково же было наше удивление, когда вместо томатного супа мне принесли кетчуп с кипяченной водой! Вместо овощного супа муж увидел в тарелке месиво из теста, несвежих овощей, нечто, совсем не похожее на индийское блюдо. Ложки были грязными, тарелки с разводами. Тогда мы позвали официанта и сказали, что кетчуп с водой - это очень оригинально, но не совсем то, что мы заказывали, официант парировал, что, де, ваши проблемы и принес палак панир и лепешки. Шпинат был, варенный, несвежий, малюсенькая тарелочка. А вот обещанного сыра в тарелке не было, лепешки подгоревшие, с них текло прогорклое масло. В общем, пообедать не удалось.. А ведь даже в самой дешевой забегаловке при дороге где-нибудь в Индии, намного вкуснее, и что удивительно, ЧИЩЕ.
