Yummy desserts - Edit
Sometimes I go here if I'm getting my nails done at Mitty's close by, and I can't walk past without getting a sweet treat. Their baklava is amazing, my favourite is the oreo flavour! There are several to choose from!
Read moreThe kevab is their best seller I think and I've had it myself with no complaints, trust me! But I also love that they have salads packed with flavour and bite, and boreks for something quick if you're on the go.
The staff in there are always kind and courteous and willing to help if you look a little stuck- the decision making in there is the hardest part!
Pros: Dessert selection is absolutely divine!, Great salads and boreks

Great for a quick takeaway snacc - Edit
So good to find a place that doesn’t just do falafel kebabs (no hate to falafel but it gets old!) lovely woman working there too who gave me recommendations that were just delish!

Reliably good - Edit
- Spinach cheese gozleme: delicious, lemony
Read more- Potato borek - very good, flavourful potato wrapped in filo pastry, rather than bready type encasing I've had at other places (and which I prefer)
- Kebab - delish garlic sauce althought somewhat watery, meat chunks a little soft and not that much flavour but still good
- Oreo baklava: delish, nice maple type sauce
There's a big range of salads that I would like to come back to try, in particular the Kale ceaser salad.
Pros: gozleme, borek, Friendly service

Blessing - Edit
Melbourne/Australia has a real gap in the vegan kebab (not falafel) area. Love getting a kevab from here, eating it at Princes park, and spilling a lot of garlic sauce down my shirt and pants. Worth it!

Mushy meat - Edit
Had been hanging to visit here and pretty gutted to say I don’t rate. The ‘meat’ is a bit tasteless and the texture is very mushy, not at all kebaby. It wasn’t bad to eat (garlic and chilli sauce can carry a lot) but if you want the kind of crispy and textured taste of something like a kebab, this isn’t it.
Read moreThe Oreo baklava was nice, but again, it’s also just a bunch of sweet stuff.
Pros: Seating area is nice
Cons: Kebab meat , Don’t think there’s a bathroom

Excellent service, great food, good prices - Edit
We came in hungry and boy did we feast!
Read moreGozleme was delicious, soft and flaky with a good amount of spinach and saltiness. The side salad we chose was pasta with peas and kinda basic but fine.
The “Dirty Chips” is basically a Canadian poutine, very similar to the one offered by Lord of the Fries, but you get a bigger portion for what you pay here 👍
Chikkin Kevab was fine, the mock meat was a little bit on the salty side, wasn’t too bad with the other stuff though.
Chikkn Corn Soup was just perfect to warm up to on this cold night, thick in consistency and satisfying. Decently priced at $5 for a coffee cup size.
Cheeseburger Kevab was taken home and eaten the next day, after zapping in the microwave it was still very tasty and imitates the flavours of a cheeseburger very well. The mock meat was kinda mushy and soft, but eaten with the other ingredients I didn’t mind so much.
My tea was forgotten about so we were given 3 bonus donuts which was really lovely of the staff!! 😍
Also bought a yummy walnut baklava and a Portuguese custard tart to take home.
All in all, a very nice experience and will definitely be going back

Gone downhill - Edit
Breaks my heart to write this for an all vegan place but the quality has declined so much since it first opened. I rarely visit now but each time I have been disappointed. Today the food had such an awful aftertaste that I’m wondering if it was off.

Terrible - Edit
One of the worst meals I can remember eating. The “vegan kebab protein” seemed to be partly-cooked falafel mix, which was lukewarm by the time it got to us, and accompanied by almost no vegies and a sweet bbq sauce in a pita wrap.
Read moreThe potato in the salad was literally raw abd crunchy - completely inedible.
The “Turkish dumplings” were actually a mix of small pasta pieces and chickpeas.
Annoying that Happy Cow won’t allow one star - I’d give it zero if I could.

YUM - Edit
These Kevab's were so yum! It was very exciting to find a vegan kebab shop! As a kebab-lover, and HSP-lover, I was thrilled to see so many options on the menu for a vegan. I had the cheeseburger kebab and a HSP to share, they were both delicious.

Misses the mark - Edit
Was really excited to try this place, but it was bland and not worth $14. I had the standard Kevab and a side of chips. The kebab meat was a mush substance like what you would find in a sausage roll? But not tasty. I added hummus to it and it must’ve been the thinnest spread as I couldn’t taste that either. So disappointing.

Tasty menu - Edit
Loved the basic kevab, but the cheeseburger kevab will always make me go back. The 'meat' is more suited for a burger patty or similar, so it works perfectly with the cheeseburger kevab. Love this place, I'm so glad I found it

Substantial kevabs with tasty mock meat and sauces - Edit
Really good vegan kebabs and a decent size for Melbourne too (please, shrinkflation, don't touch this!). Everything was cooked to perfection (including fries) and flavourful. Just wish the sweets weren't so overpriced and tiny. They tasted good, but not worth the $$$. One teeny donut or baklava are $4.5 a piece!

I love Kevabs - Edit
Kevabs is awesome. They have a great range of fresh and interesting salads every day (saying that as someone who is not in any way a salad person) and also lots of different sweets - donuts, baklava, sometimes almond croissants.
Read moreThey also do gozleme and falafel but you can't beat just the standard kevab - packed with salad and sauce and that meat! It's not "meaty" mock meat - rather, it's a delicious substitute with a similar texture to crumbled falafel that doesn't leave you feeling heavy and gross afterwards, like Lord of the Fries or the Cornish Arms can.
Pros: All vegan, Fresh and tasty, Lovely staff

Portuguese tarts - Edit
The spinach and feta was good but could have had more filling. Portuguese tarts were yum & I don't know anywhere else that does them. Mini jam doughnuts could have more jam. Donuts with icing were nice. I look forward to trying the salads and kebabs next time. So exciting to have this place!
