A nice meal

Lots of little vegan dishes to put on your cooked rice. The ambience was relaxed and authentic. Good flavours and filling.

Pros: Very polite staff, Delicious food

Cons: Rather expensive

One of the best rice tables we ever had

We love Indonesian food, and whenever we are in the Netherlands, we try to go to an Indonesian restaurant for a ricetable. Usually they have a vegetarian rice table, which can easily be veganised.
So we made a reservation and asked for the vegan ricetable, which was no problem.

The ricetable was really one of the best we ever had. Great variety of dishes. Dishes with egg plant, haricots, tahoe, jackfruit, ... Really good flavours.

At 30€ pp on the expensive side, but all in all really worth it. Different varieties of rice available (+ add 4€ per variety of rice).

Very knowledgeable about vegan too. And friendly service.
We sat at the window, and the sun was very bright (despite curtains) and at the end of our lunch it was getting rather hot.
Restaurant on ground floor, toilets at the back, no accessible toilet. Toilets basic and old skool but clean.

All in all: had a lovely lunch!

Heerlijke rijsttafel

Eén van de beste rijsttafels die ik tot nu toe gegeten heb. Ondanks dat de vegan rijsttafel niet op de kaart staat heb ik het gevoel dat ik een volwaardige rijsttafel heb gegeten en niet iets waarbij ze gewoon wat dingen hebben weggelaten. Zo was er bijvoorbeeld ook een jackfruit gerecht en behoorlijk spicy aubergine. De gele rijst en gebakken rijst (toeslag van 3 euro per bak) zijn ook erg lekker. Alles was vol van smaak en net even anders dan ik bij andere Indonesische restaurants heb gegeten.

Pros: Goed op de hoogte van veganisme, Ruime porties, Erg lekker

Cons: Staat niet op de kaart, dus eerst melden., Niet goedkoop, vooral toeslag op rijst is duur.
