a good meal - Edit
There are 3 vegan optionsfor pasta. I got rasta pasta and wasn't disappointed. it was delicious. however, the server might not entirely grasp the notion of vegan. I asked about vegan meals, and they double checked if I eat fish. Then, before bringing the pasta, they asked me if I wanted parmesan on top - I double checked if it's vegan (and was getting impressed), but it wasn't - I mean why would I aks about vegan pasta if parmesan might be okay for me? but again the pasta itself was amazing - one of rare cases I did actually finish pasta. although it's somewhat pricy - ~20.usd

A place with options in Negril - an oasis in the desert! - Edit
Visited Negril in May 2025 and was disappointed to learn how rare vegan restaurants and restaurants with vegan options are (especially given Ital culture). Tried Kenny's Italian Cafe and was pleased to find their menu had some items that were clearly vegan or could easily be made vegan. I ordered Rasta Pasta and a mixed salad with italian dressing. At the end of the meal, the manager Samantha approached us as she heard we had asked about gluten free options. She expressed that they are always seeking to expand the menu to accommodate the needs of travelers and that I was probably the 5th person who had requested gluten free so they're going to add it. I told her we are also vegan and she spent time asking us what we'd recommend they include. We told her we had seen vegan meats in the nearby grocery store (beyond meat ground, sausage, and other vegan friendly products), suggested vegan cheese alternatives like nutritional yeast but also acknowledged it may difficult to source those things in JA. I'm confident that the restaurant will expand their offerings in the future.
