No vegan breakfast options

Kennedys is a new restaurant in Castlebar - the menus on their vegan has advertised vegan options. I went here on a Saturday at about 11am, had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. I enquired with the server while waiting if they had any options for breakfast as there were none on the menu. She said no but if I told them what I wanted, they should be able to give me something. Once seated I enquired again with the waitress serving us, if I could have something from the Lunch menu (there were 2 options on this menu - both salad type dishes). To be fair, the server did enquire with her manager and then I was told no because the kitchen was too busy and that menu doesn’t start until 12. So I had an açai bowl without the Greek yoghurt for the handsome sum of €11.00. I left hungry.

Pros: They have 2 vegan options from lunch onwards

Cons: The vegan options are not enough , You can only get vegan options after 12 noon?! , Not enough parking and long queues to get seated

I just took a look at their website and they have different menus for Castlebar than anywhere else but it's not obvious as you have to scroll down past all of the other menus... Of course Castlebar gets less vegan options (for whatever reason). I'm not surprised, but I am still disappointed.

Yea same - not surprised really. Was annoyed by the conflicting information from staff and then feeling like I was being awkward or demanding for asking them for options. Don’t get me started about their Sunday lunch options - the vegans only get a cold salad! 🙄🤯
