V poor service; ignored for 10 minutes before I left.
Read moreRowdy groups dropping Jaeger-bombs at 5.30 in the afternoon; not a "family friendly" atmosphere.
A real shame, as I have been visiting for 40 years, and it has outdoor seating, which is rare in Birr.

Vegan options close to Birr Castle - Edit
Vegan lasagna was delicious, staff was very friendly and kind, nice pub and perfect walking distance from Birr Castle.
