Haven’t been here in a while as their baked goods are nothing to get excited about. Cupcakes are dry and too sweet, their brownies are teeth numbingly sweet and I’ve found nothing in their shop to be spectacular. But the bigotry and racism coming from this predominantly white shop is what led me to finally reviewing their food. Would recommend checking out other spots before kellys!

Terrible baked goods and very expensive. Ice cream is good though, great size.

The cupcakes are nothing special- you can find much better stuff in nearby cities. The owner is also spending her time encouraging her following to disregard public health while spreading misinformation about vaccines etc . After the last few missteps this business took, pretending to care about their community while spewing privileged bs, this is the icing on their crappy cupcakes. I’ll never be back or ever supper this business again.

Perhaps at one point Kelly’s Bake Shoppe was among the only places in the area to get vegan desserts, but at this point we have to admit to ourselves that this place is overpriced, overly sweet, way too much icing (who actually enjoys a 1:1 ratio of cupcake to icing???) and frankly too dry. I thought I didn’t like cupcakes, but after trying one at another vegan cafe in the GTA I think the culprit might actually just be Kelly’s.

I tried Kelly's years ago and found it to be nothing special. Since, the owner has been unbelievably problematic - google Kelly's Bake Shop pride, or controversy. If you believe in social justice, head somewhere else.

I used to frequent this place way back when it was the only option, their cupcakes were never good (bland and/or too sweet) but their soft serve was delicious. But at some point they changed it from a soy base to an oat and it’s not for the better! It is now absolutely horrible.

The only thing they have left worth getting is the brownies but given the shadiness of the owners, I’d rather not support them. They are no longer the only vegan baked option around so there is zero reason to be a patron any longer.

I will say there is one lady who works there that is an absolute doll! She was always so friendly and remembered faces, even if you had not been in awhile.

Kelly’s Bake Shoppe is good and I enjoy the vegan and gluten free options but they aren’t the only option in town.

The owner is problematic due to her political views - so it makes it hard to support them.

Cupcakes have gotten smaller it seems and more expensive. Overly sweet. There are better options around BurlingtonOakville these days.

There are plenty of other vegan bakeries I’d go to before stepping foot here.
