Vegan patty melts and more - Edit
This our second time at Kelcy's on a California road trip. The vegan patty melts hit the spot. This time we also got a side salad with the vegan thousand island dressing. The servers are very nice and well versed in the vegan options. The covered patio out back is dog friendly. The table next to us ordered the vegan chili and they loved that too.

- vegan Melt sandwich - great 8.5/10, was bummed there wasn't a vegan potato salad option tho. Fries were very good tho. Didn't care for the fennel? seed flavor in the sourdough bread
Read more- toast - make sure if you don't eat dairy you ask for no butter, as mine came with what I assume was butter meted on it
Very nice staff and free coffee for PCT hikers was nice. Would be great to see more fully vegan options on the menu (especially the breakfast menu!) And would be great if the menu was more clear for vegetarian vs vegan, as the symbol currently lumps both together.

Relaxing “real” diner environment that takes you back to the 50’s. Not exactly “Happy Days” but the diner is definitely a throwback to that era.

Portions not huge but easily a filling meal that is both tasty and reasonably priced.
We are happy to have found this little oasis.
