Great vegan options - Edit
Probably the best vegan option in Hiroshima. As there are no entirely vegan options available, this has got to be the best option for vegans in Hiroshima. Most of their food options are vegan anyway, with the few exceptions of dishes containing eggs which are clearly labelled. You can choose between being seated on tatami mats or at a normal table. The food tasted great and the portions were satisfying.

The people are very friendly and the Food is amazing. Especially the spices in the Seitan products are really amazing. There is a wide range of vegan options available and you can even have vegan desserts. Must try!

Highly recommend. Restaurant is vegetarian but vegan options are clearly marked. Prices very reasonable and extremely tasty (we had set meals which came to just over 1100 yen). Staff extremely friendly and speak very good English. An excellent experience!

This Chinese vegetarian restaurant in Hiroshima has extensive vegan offerings. Everything is clearly marked on the menu. Lunch sets also available, and combos for some of the dishes (main served with some appetizers and soup). Staff is knowledgeable about what they are serving. Prices are very reasonable for Hiroshima standards, and portion sizes are good. All around yum!

We stumbled across this newly opened restaurant whilst looking for food in Hiroshima and endend up having dinner here twice. The owner is chinese but has been living in Japan for a long time, she doesn't speak English but communication was possible through a translation app and I can only tell you that she's a total sweetheart. The waitress is japanese and she speaks excellent english and she's also lovely. The food is great, there are a lot of choices, the portions are very generous and excellent value for money, and everything is freshly prepared - just delicious. This was one of the best food experiences I had in Japan and one I will cherish for a long time.

Amazing VEGAN options. 80% of the menus is vegan! They have Chinese and Japanese dishes. The owner/chef and server are both very welcoming. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend. When looking for the place, be aware that currently (we visited in late May 2024) the the sign only states "Keiai" and is quite small, above the Kanji, so be careful not to pass it by! Don't be put off if the place is quiet. This is because it opened quite recently and has not yet become well known. Fantastic all round!

Normally not a Chinese food lover, until I came here. Being in Japan I love to try out local food, but I must admit this is the best food I have had in Japan so far. Also, the staff is wonderful. One of the waitresses speaks perfect English and the chef is amazing. So don’t walk, run!

Of all chinese restaurants and pretty much any restaurant one of the best tasting meal, including pre-vegan times. Tasted two different salads, tofu, soy meatballs, Beijing duck.. all great!

Really hope they are successful as more vegan places needed in Japan. Menu in English and Japanese.
Recommend the lamb sticks (skewers), wood ear mushroom and Chinese cabbage, and the fried ‘chicken’ with peanuts in sweet and sour sauce.

Excellent service, delicious food, lovely atmosphere. The chef and owner were so nice; we had such a good time eating here for both the food and the service. We’re probably going to go back before we leave Hiroshima.

Read moreCame here for lunch and left with massive smiles on our faces. One of the first restaurants we found in Japan that offers authentic vegan food that does not simply feel like a normal dish with some ingredients removed. We tried three options from the extensive menu and were floored by each. Especially the vegan Beijing Duck blew us away. Everything from the flavour down to the texture just felt perfect 👌🏻
The staff were also incredibly welcoming and friendly. We were given complimentary snacks and the chef came out to speak with us and give recommendations for our stay in Hiroshima.
I truly cannot recommend this place enough!

We stumbled upon this gem after a long morning of traveling. The staff/chef were so welcoming and friendly. They helped our large American (mostly non-vegetarian) group with the menu and were so patient with us. We ordered the lunch ramen set, ma po eggplant and fried dumplings. Everything came out very quickly and was so delicious and flavorful!!! My favorite ramen ever! I really wish we had time to eat here again! We were grateful for the experience and fantastic food and kind friendly staff.

This is a new all vegetarian/vegan restaurant. We came on our 1st night in Hiroshima and enjoyed it so much we went back the next night. There is a very extensive menu and I had the nicest sweet & sour Tofu I've ever eaten. The lady who owns the restaurant speaks really good English and is super friendly and the lady who does the cooking is adorable. We couldn't find the restaurant on the 1st night but it's right next door to Vietnam ao baba.

Wonderful vegan Chinese cuisine - Edit
Located in the city center, I visited this place in a group by walking from the Atomic Bomb Dome. We ordered vegan xiaolongbao, dumplings, fried rice (it contained eggs but you can request to exclude them), fried tofu (it had a strong smell but was delicious), and more. The menu had a wide variety of options, so you won't be disappointed. Everything was tasty and affordable, and the owner was exceptionally kind. I can't wait to come back and try more offerings!
