Great food in a beautiful dining room - Edit
Set slightly back from the main street, so an oasis of calm from the hordes of tourists, a lovely building with equally lovely vegan options on the menu.

Five stars - Absolutely the best - Edit
I'm so glad we tracked this down! It's slightly hidden just over the bridge at Matlock. We were a party of three, a vegan, a vegetarian and a flexitarian. We all went for the Buddha bowl but the flexitarian added the halloumi and poached egg. God it was gorgeous. Really fresh, beautifully presented, lots of variety and sprinkled with pomegranate seeds. There were new potatoes roasted in herbs absolutely delicious we all devoured our food. Then the piece de resistance! The cakes!! Absolutely some of the best cakes I have ever tasted. Regular cake was lemon, almond and cherry bakewell loaf (my fav), then the salted caramel vegan cake which was a close second utterly moist and yummy. Last but not least a gluten free vegan brownie studded with lots of choc and delightfully chewy. We actually went to the kitchen later to compliment the chef. The staff were lovely and friendly and the prices very reasonable. Very clean and welcoming and we sat outside as it was a lovely day. Wish I lived nearer I would be there every day. Can't recommend this place highly enough. I wish this site would let me give it five stars because it is undoubtedly a five star place to eat! Just go and try it!!!

Been to Kefi a couple of times now. Really nice and light cafe space with good vegan options and great coffee. Options include pizza, club sandwich and a Buddha bowl which we opted for. The club sandwich did look nice tho. We didn't have cake so can't comment on these. Also offer free dog treats! Also has some outside seating.

Extremely accommodating - Edit
Stopped for a quick snack and drink. Despite a very demanding group, the welcome was warm and friendly. A good selection of vegan food and drinks. The “cauliflower bites” were amazing.
