Hidden gem - Edit
This is a hidden gem totally worth getting off the beaten path to visit on a nice afternoon or evening and get away from it all. There is an organic orchard, a cidery that produces natural and unfiltered (alcoholic) ciders, a tasting room to sample and enjoy a beverage of your choice, and a number of vegan food options. The outside seating area is fantastic where you can enjoy scheduled live music. There is also a small store inside where you can buy their ciders and other local products.
Read moreThe owners confirmed they do not use animal products during production of their ciders, except for the ciders that have honey which are clearly marked. They also provided the following list of vegan food choices:
VEGAN FOOD
Hummus and crackers
Variety of pickles and olives (specify olives with no cheese)
Veggie Toastie (order with no cheese)
There is usually a salad and/or soup that is vegan
The “Fourth Friday Farmers Feast” always has a vegan option, usually from the Herbivorous Butcher.
Pros: Beautiful relaxing venue, Both close by & far enough away, Great local drinks & food
