Ich war für einen Tag in Göttingen und habe hier fast nur gutes über den Kürbisdöner/Dürüm gelesen.

Ich habe mir die Nr. 10 bestellt "Dürüm mit Gemüseköfte, Salat & Soße" und habe extra nach dem Kürbisdürüm gefragt. Die Person an der Theke antwortete mir kaum und spulte ihr Programm ab. Der Gemüseköfte wurde kurz in eine nicht heiße Friteuse? geschmissen, und danach in den Dürüm gelegt. Der Salat sah frisch aus und war ok, die Saucen leider undefinierbar. (angeblich Hummus).
Beim ersten Biss bestätigten sich leider meine Befürchtungen:
Der Gemüseköfte war super fettig, die Saucen sehr! salzig und alles zusammen eine graue Masse im Mund. Ich kann das wirklich nicht weiterempfehlen. Die Preise sind natürlich in Ordnung, aber Geschmacklich war es dem Tag wirklich schlecht, sodass ich schweren Herzens über die hälfte des Dürüms wegschmiss und mir im Kiosk nebenan eine Cola kaufte um den Salzgeschmack wegzubekommen.
Einen Stern gibt es für die Bemühungen was Veganes anzubieten.
P.S.: Wer als Liebslingsstammkunden die Polizei hat... schwierig.

Leckerer veganer Döner mit Kürbis-Köfte - Edit
Ich war nur einmal in diesem Laden aber als ich da war, war niemand unfreundlich zu mir, ganz im Gegenteil ich fand den Besitzer wirklich sympatisch und nett also weiß ich nicht warum es so viele negative Bewertungen gibt. Die selbstgemachten (und angebauten) Kürbis-Köfte für den veganen Döner sind echt lecker und etwas besonders. Ich würde dort auf jeden Fall wieder essen gehen.

Love the pumpkin köfte - Edit
The owner grows the pumpkins and vegetables he uses for the köfte in his own garden. I can highly recommend the vegan pumpkin falafel dürüm with peanut sauce. It’s tasty, cheap and filling!

Der Chef persönlich hat die Speisen erklärt und mit Qualität und Geschmack überzeugt. Einiges ist sogar aus dem eigenen Garten und sogar das Brot für den Döner ist hausgemacht. Toll!

Very nice owner doesn’t speak a lick of English but he has an entire vegan/vegetarian menu. He has his accolades for his vegan menu plastered on the walls so I just pointed and he hooked me up! Had a huge sandwich with all the vegan toppings and hummus plus a soda for €6. Oh and a spiralized fried potato on a stick for €1.50! Close to train station. It was a perfect casual meal on the go. Went here twice in 4 days!

Was at a conference nearby, and the caterers hadn't managed to provide anything vegan (despite repeated reminders).
Read moreThis place was fantastic. Manager was very helpful and friendly. Explained all the vegan options, and how various veg options could be made vegan. Plus there are photos, which helped since I don't speak German. Food was inexpensive and tasty.
Would have rated 5* if it were allowed (not allowed as isn't fully veg restaurant)

Not a regular kebab shop - Edit
The Kebabhaus in Göttingen may seem like a regular kebab shop at first sight, but it's actually different from most kebabs. The owner is really friendly, often offers a free glass of tea, and likes to chat with his customers. Most vegan (there are few, but they're tasty) and vegetarian dishes are housemade. Especially the kofta from homegrown pumpkins are delicious. It's a pitty that there's still meat sold.

The owner is very nice and his vegan pumpkin kofta taste very good. The salat is fresh and the bread is handmade, not like the other stores were the bread taste like old gum.
