Average experience

A vegetarian Chi Char stall in a Coffeeshop. First visit and only tried their claypot hor fun and mee goreng. Somehow I was having a higher expectation since others have provided quite a high review previously. Unexpectedly, The experience is average and have no urge to return.

The claypot hor fun was quite sleazy, probably if they could have serve with more gravy and with more ingredient may definitely improve the dish significantly. Somehow it was over power with the hor fun instead. Contrary for the Mee goreng is of too small portion and noodle is under cook and the noodle taste a bit hard. Nevertheless, a great effort to achieve authentic mee goreng taste.

Overall experience is average.

Available on Grab Food

Mee Goreng on the sweet side, flat noodles used, with the usual mock char siew & duck meat, mixed vege dices and slices of mushroom, tomatoes and some green vege. 😖

Deep fried beancurd but in brown gravy ~
Bland tasteless 😒

Did my reunion dinner but no veggie yusheng

Dishes are nicely seasoned. Buttered mushrooms are good. Kway Teow & fried noodles are disappointing. Olive fried rice has good wokhei. Slow service on weekends but staff are friendly. Sharks fin soup is amazing.

Pros: Many Chi char dishes!, Many car park lots available , Reasonably priced

Cons: Closed for long periods during cny, Small portions

good food quick service

We had:
- shark fin soup
- nonya curry chicken (soy nuggets)
- claypot tofu .
This is the first time I’m trying vegetarian shark fin soup, and I really liked it! I don’t really know how to describe the taste, but although it is gooey, the taste of potato starch isn’t as strong as it seemed (somehow I hate sweet potato starch). The claypot tofu used soft tofu instead of firmer ones, but the sauce was the highlight - instead of usual soy sauce, this place used a thick sauce similar to that of sweet teriyaki.

Delicious & Value for money!

Came here for the first time with my parents and sister for a simple birthday dinner.
We ordered 5 dishes (3 shown in the gallery here) and they arrived fast and fresh.
Each of us had a plate of white rice to go with the Assam fish curry, cereal prawns, fried mushrooms, hotplate and assorted stir fried vegetables.
All these for just $44! I'll definitely come back for more good meals :)

Pros: Many choices in the menu

Cons: Located at a coffee-shop where's there's no air co
