Great Hot Cocoa & BLT Sandwich - Edit
Visiting Calgary and found this place. Wonderful, rich flavored hot cocoa! The vegetables on the BLT were very fresh.

Worth walking 15 blocks for - Edit
I was very favorably impressed with the architecture, the maintenance, the food, and the service. I had the Thai lentil stew one day and the Chili bowl the next. And, after talking with the woman who made the desserts, I bought one of every one of them for take-out, due to the great ingredients. The employee knew what the sweeteners were and every other ingredient.

Wonderful service by the staff working at the time of our visit, friendly from the moment we walked in. Loads of options, you can tell the menu has been well thought out. Couldn't fault anything we had, favourite place I have eaten in Canada!

Great food - Edit
Have been here a few times, had the waffles this time. Would have preferred the maple syrup on the side so I could put on how much I like when I like instead of them drizzling it all over. By the time I was getting down they were soggy and sweet.
Read moreAlso, although I was asked if I was eating in, which we were. I was served my waffles in a box, which was rather awkward eating, and all disposable cutlery, cups etc. When eating in I would suggest real dishes if possible, at least a plate would have been nice.
Pros: All vegan, great food, selection & quality , Lots of drink choices too , Nice interiors & location, hours are good too
Cons: Loud music , Disposable dishes even when eating in , They pour the maple syrup on the waffles

Great food! - Edit
Delicious food and lots of options from sweet to savory. Customer service is very nice as well! A bit on the pricey side but I think you’re paying for the quality of ingredients. Would definitely recommend. Parking can be a bit challenging out front but down the street there is usually some 2hr parking spots.

Did not taste as expected - Edit
I had the macaberry mojo. The "superfoods" were overpowering the taste of the blueberries. I tasted a bit like medicine. I asked if they could take my containers, but said they could not. I wished I had a better experience, but I would love to try the meal options they have. They sound great.

Cons: No prices on website, refuse reusable containers, tasted like medicine

Fresh, organic and delicious - Edit
This is one of the few places we eat that does not compensate for vegan choices with chemicals, fat and processed ingredients. The food is fresh, organic, delicious, great value and the service is always en pointe. The ambiance is great and they use recycled and biodegradable packaging. Lots of variety on the menu and they are willing to leave things out (I ask for no Smokey flavours or chipotle things )

Racist - Edit
Ordered a smoothie. Older white woman, brunette, made the smoothie if you can say that. She served the matcha avocado smoothie, and when I went to pick it up, she looked down at the drink, to display that she didn’t care that the dates were at the bottom. All she had to do was press blend. Her racism made her feel comfortable enough to serve something she felt proud of sabotaging. I was shocked to realize I was in an unsafe environment that if I stood up for myself to address the racism that no one would support me because everyone else was a white woman. I knew her white tears would protect her and gaslight my experience. It’s a shame a vegan restaurant displays these ugly values of racism. Beware my women of colour, White feminism is at work here.
