Good experience! - Edit
Nice atmosphere, typical Japanese food, private sitting area with a grill. It’s hard to find this kind of restaurants having vegan options and the food was really tasty. Also the friendly girl who served us was a vegan too, who also spoke our native language, German. so felt like we were in good hands. :-)

Vegan friendly Okonomiyakis - Edit
If you happen to be in Osaka, I totally recommend this restaurant located in Kyobashi, less than a 5 minutes walk from the JR Kyobashi station (Loop Line) !
Read moreThe staff is really nice and professional. Not to mention the amazing food with vegan options for us all the plant eaters :)
It's really affordable as well

Eat like a local - Edit
We were seated in a private cabin with a grill plate on a table. Okonomiyaki and yakisoba were delicious. Loved the experience, recommend if you are ever in the area! Bit pricey (I think 1300 Yen per meal?)

Great vegan okonomiyaki - Edit
It was fantastic to find this vegan friendly okonomiyaki restaurant serving vegan okonomiyaki options. I had a great time with my vegan and none vegan friends. This place is a living example that Japan is slowly but surely becoming more vegan friendly.

Vegan friendly restaurent - Edit
I went here with my vegan friends, and the food was absolutely amazing. I am not a vegetarian so I’ve tried the classical okonomiaki, yakisoba and yakiudon but this time I also ordered vegan and it was just as delicious as the classical food. Also they have a QR code that’s makes it easy to look at the menu, very helpful!

Delicious okonomiyaki! - Edit
A few delicious vegan dishes available. As far as I am aware, the vegan options are not on the main menu but must be requested on arrival. The okonomiyaki was the highlight.

Real Japanese Food!! - Edit
I was so happy to know that they serve VEGAN OKONOMIYAKI! Living in Osaka and not finding a vegan option of one of the best-known street food of the city was pretty frustrating. So, I went with some friends to try the vegan okonomiyaki and I wasn't disappointed at all. We also had vegan yakisoba and yakiudon (maybe my favourite). The noddles were so rich in flavour and with the perfect chewy yet soft texture. Everything was so tasty and SO JAPANESE.
Read moreI really recommend to go to Kaze no Machi in Kyobashi to get the authentic Japanese Okonomiyaki. Go with friends so you can share and enjoy the other vegan options (really, don't miss the yakisoba and yakiudon ^^). In the menu you can also find edamame and white rice (both obviously vegan).
Actually, the vegan options are not yet in the menu so just go in and ask for them.
Pros: Tasty food, many options, friendly staff

Authentic Okonomiyaki Made Vegan - Edit
Kaze no Machi is a very famous restaurant known for its amazing Okonomiyaki for years. It's one of the most traditional Okonomiyaki restaurants existing. I couldn't be happier when I heard the news that they were making vegan Okonomiyaki, Yakisoba, and Yakiudon. They are all very nicely made, and something all should try. I come here at least once a week now. THE BEST VEGAN OKONOMIYAKI, YAKISOBA, AND YAKIUDON I'VE HAD.
