Highly recommended!!

I have been working through all of the Happy Cow listings in Dushanbe and couldn’t wait to try Kaya for vegan Korean food. Please note that there are two locations ( one in a park with limited options) and the restaurant with indoor seating which I visited. There are two different seating areas both nicely decorated. Prepared with my V card in Russian and photos from one of the previous reviews , I ordered udon noodles with vegetables and array of salads with a refreshing citrus lemonade. Portions were generous, service was friendly and inexpensive dining experience. It was quiet when I was there, only 4 tables were occupied, but hope people will consider coming out here as it is delicious Definitely recommended!

Pros: generous portions, inexpensive, friendly service

Real Delight!

In a meat-city (or meat-country...) this place is a real delight! I had a vegetarian bi bim bap with tofu, and they served 6 quite big vegan starters with it (which made me unable to eat the salad which I ordered as a side... Especially the carrot salad which comes as starter is veeery good). Waiters speak ok-ish English, so actually many dishes can be made vegetarian. Considering its Dushanbe, this actually deserves 5*

Pros: Variety of vegetarian options, Yummi vegan starters, Ok-ish english to modify order

Cons: TV turned on
