Not all vegan but lots of vegan options - Edit
Unfortunately, I came in under the impression that everything was vegan. I love places that are mostly vegan but since Berlin has so many all vegan restaurants I'm trying to visit all of them. Kawa had cow's milk and bee's honey. Even on their website it says that they care about organic and vegan food which may be misleading. It does not say 100% vegan like many vegan restaurants in Berlin.
Anyway, aside from that I was pleasantly surprised to see they were open on a holiday and that the place was cute and small with an emphasis on wood. There was outside seating too. All the cakes on display were vegan and gluten free except one. I got an americano, a piece of chocolate cake and a raw cacao bar. The cake was really great. Deep chocolatey flavor and moist. The americano was great too.
Pros: vegan cake , open on holiday
Cons: no toilet
