I only noticed this being a chain on this visit to Hamburg, where prior I've only been to Katers Köök so far.

The food wasn't bad but also nothing stood out. The cats were really cute. Some of them came to us. In general it was to expensive for what it was.

Don't go with young children between 12pm and 3pm - Edit
They refuse people with children to eat inside. Apparently there is a law that forbids them to have children enter between 12 and 15pm because the cats can get stressed? Imagine that, we can bring a million animals to the slaughterhouse, but we can't accidentally cause a cat some stress. What utter nonsense. Our child was sleeping by the way. We took some sandwhiches and ate them outside. They were pretty nice.

Friendly space, quite large. Reservation is not a bad idea because crowds at the Katzentempels fluctuate heavily. In renovated, posh part of town (inner city). Can easily be reached by public transport including busses 🚎
