They don't promote the menu as vegan because they fear to discourage people who haven't thought of eating vegan yet. Open Wed-Fri 12:30-17:30, Sat-Sun 13:00-18:00.

Delicious cake - Edit
The cake here is really delicious. I had a cherry cake, which tastes like "Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte", only better. The atmosphere is cosy and the staff is friendly. And of course there are cats all around. So the Katzencafe Miezhaus is really a recommendation, if you like cats. If you don't like it, that a cat is playing with your long hair, while you eat your cake, which i don't like, you have a hard decission to make, cause the cake is really so delicious.

The cake is lovely fluffy and creamy, like the ones the older generation would tell you' you just can't make without egg & cream'
They do savoury dishes too we still have to try.

I went there for lunch and even though their savoury dishes are limited I had difficulties to decide which one I should try. The "Herbst Wrap" was fantastic but unfortunately all I could enjoy for dessert was a yummy hot chocolate. I had a little cat sitting with me while I ate and enjoyed a few pages of my book while drinking the hot chocolate... that's pretty close to a perfect spent noon. It got quite busy on a Saturday afternoon so I'd recommend to make a reservation if you're a group. Will definitely come back for the cakes😄

My first visit to the cat cafe. I’ve been meaning to go just for the cats but the added bonus is that they serve vegan food. The owner is super friendly and helpful. We got there when it opened and I must say, it was clean, didn’t smell of cats (for anyone who is sceptical) and a lovely set up. It’s not cramped, plenty of seating space. There is something on the menu for most appetites. We had a toasted sandwich and a wrap. Both were fresh and very tasty. The owner makes the cakes herself, of course I had to try a piece of the apple cake. Delicious ! I took a piece of the pistachio and hazelnut cake home for my mum she loved it. Definite worth a visit, I will be going back again

European café, i.e., mostly cake & coffee. Around 15 seats, cozy, friendly, nice cakes. Wraps are cold (not heated) & freshly prepared. Cats are chilled. Good coffee, nice staff. Vegan journals & cat books available (for reading purposes in café). Two non-garlic options, yeah!

I love their cakes and desserts, the staff is super friendly and on top of that you have 5 (adopted) cats around you. Even the savory stuff is delicious. And they have hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and so much more, all vegan!
