Amazing - Edit
First time in a cat cafe. I called ~20 hours before my visit to order a vegan high tea, unfortunately that was too late. I was still told that a reservation would be advised
Read moreWhen I got there at 3pm I immediately felt welcomed. The place actually filled up quickly which surprised me, as it was all reservations although they close at 5.
There were around 4-5 cats to see in total, but I think 10 actually live there. Not all of them want to be pet or play, which is very understandable! Please respect the cats! In a folder on every table are their names and explanations about them. I stayed for around an hour and had a good time.
As for the food, I wouldn't go there for that again. Maybe for a high tea. I didn't try a sandwich, but the cake. I was shown the whole apple crumble cake and I don't know if it was store bought or selfmade, but the batter which was supposed to be like a shortbread pastry texture, was straight up raw dough. I didn't say anything as I felt kinda obligated to buy and eat the cake after asking if it could be shown to me, but I would never get it again.
The flat white was good, they use plant milk from Aldi. But the extra cost for it made me sad.
So - nice experience, just not food wise.
