Noisy and doesn’t taste good - Edit
We had sandwiches and pumpkin lattes that didn’t taste good. The place was CRAMPED and loud, kids chasing cats around. Poor cats. Would never come back here.

Sweet cats sleeping around the cafe, and we enjoyed the vegan snickers bar with vegan whip. Cute stop in Reykjavik!

Great experience - Edit
You will see cats but don’t expect to see many. They have a max of 5 at a time and they like to hide and sleep. The cafe is cute and clean. The food, drinks, and pastries were delicious. The girls behind the counter were super sweet. Would recommend!

Cats + coffee + pastries = ❤️ - Edit
This place is heaven on earth. I cannot say enough good things. I had coffee, and two pastries that I’ll post pictures of that were fantastic. Great way to start a day adventuring in Reykjavik.

Fun spot. - Edit
Stayed very close by so we visited a few times in June 2022. Definitely the most memorable place I ate at and I enjoyed sitting with the cats each morning.

Cats and vegan options! - Edit
We had the grilled avocado sandwich and the grilled pesto sandwich. They were good though nothing fancy. There was a large selection of vegan pastries that we did not try that looked quite nice. Had a nice chat with the friendly owner and enjoyed the cats.

A nice cafe with cats - Edit
Visited the cat cafe once during our stay (tried to go back but it was too busy!) A nice place, cute idea with the rescue cats. The coffee/teas are nice. We ate waffles and vegan cream. There were also one or two sandwiches, but it's fairly limited for substantial food options. A good cafe but not a restaurant

My ideal place - Edit
So it’s been quite a while since u came here but I just realized I never reviewed. This place is truly incredible. Everything is so pretty and pink and adorable. My boyfriend is horribly allergic to cats but I brought him along anyway and we both had a great time. The drinks and food are really good, definitely worth checking out.

We had a fantastic time here in Feb 2020 - at the time it was fully vegan but not sure if this has changed now. We had fantastic service and I had an amazing chai latte and cake - the cats were so sweet as well!

Decent enough vegan options, tasty hot chocolate. There was only one guy there tho and it was a busy day so service was slow. The cats were cute, I felt bad that customers kept disturbing them whilst they were sleeping tho. Very cute idea, would recommend:)

Waffle - Edit
It was okay, I fancied something sweet. Lots of vegan options (but not fully vegan as listing claims). The person working there said everything was vegan but then said the whipped cream was dairy but I could have it vegan so that was a bit confusing. The cats were sweet but clearly stressed out. People were forcibly interacting with them when they just wanted to be left alone. Was busy, waited 20 mins for a table. Wouldn’t go out of my way to go here again but was fine to stop in as was nearby. #Veganuary

What an absolutely lovely cat café! The tea I had could’ve been better, but I was very fortunate to try the grilled sandwich, which I think is prepared in a local way. There wasn’t much inside the sandwich, but it was delicious and included a vegan cheese, some avocado, and some tomatoes. But again, the inside of the sandwich was sparse (other nearby restaurants served the same in the same way).

We took a snickers brownie to go, as they were closing. We had hoped to come back and try more, but sadly ran out of time. Everything looked amazing and such sweet kitties hanging out.

Nice vegan spot but… - Edit
The day we went there were lots of children and a few were screaming/crying and chasing cats. So the cats were too stressed for it to be a nice visit.
Read moreWe’ve been to a cat cafe before in Stratford Upon Avon in the UK that had a bigger space & so the cats had more freedom to roam and not be put off by any noise.
Maybe we just came on a bad day!

Cons: Stressed cats, Loud children
