great place for that special occassion - Edit

I went to Kaskrut with my friends and we all ordered a whole menu. You need to be patient, because the food will not come fast and the portions are small but after a whole menu we were all very full. The food was delicious and innovative. I loved it that it was possible to have a whole vegan menu, even though they serve meat too. I think it may encourage non-vegans to try vegan food and see how beautiful and tasty it can be. Kaskrut can be a great place for a date too, it's elegant and cosy and the stuff is very friendly. The only minus is crazy prices of wine, a simple Prosecco that should cost max 40-50 PLN is sold for 80 PLN there. But overall experience was great!

Pros: elegant, innovative, delicious

Cons: a bit too pricy wine

Elegant vegan nouvelle cuisine - Edit

Kaskrut ("Casse-Croute", "snack" in French) is a small and minimalistic French bistro, very elegant and inviting. The dishes are light, delicate and with a fantastic presentation.

The food is delicious, super creative, using local and seasonal ingredients, and so beautifully put together that you might not know where to start.

The menu is in English and practically half of it is 100% vegan (clearly marked on the menu). There are usually two vegans starters, one vegan main dish, one vegan sandwich and a vegan dessert.

The menu is quite limited and there is also an option to have all vegan dishes as "degustation" for around 50 PLN. This might be a good idea as portions are quite small (nouvelle cuisine).

They also sell great wine, all French.

Perfect to impress someone with delicious and creative vegan food, while also allowing them to choose not-vegan.

Finally, a classy vegan dining place in Warsaw :)

Pros: Tasty, creative and beautiful dishes, Clearly marked vegan options, Cosy bistro
