A really cozy place with excellent juices - Edit

Very friendly and welcoming service. Delicious juices/shakes, with fresh fruit and organic vegetables. And no sugar! Generous portions for both food and drinks. And the complimentary ginger tea was perfect too. Besides a few mosquito bites this place is great. I most definitely recommend it and will re-visit myself.

Pros: lovely service, large portions, great drinks and food

Veggie friendly open-air garden restaurant - Edit

Eating while sitting in a garden with a great music selection playing in the background. Who doesn’t like that vibe.

On entrance, customers are welcomed into the garden/restaurant with a smile and offered a complimentary ginger and honey tea to stir the taste buds and wake up the appetite.

The menu has a great variety of tasty food for meat lovers, vegetarians and vegans. One of my favourite things about the Kasalong is that they serve fresh fruit juices and not just smoothies like most other restaurants.

The food is not pre-made and changes can be made to your dietary needs. The food is also very tasty and very filling. Take my advice and only order one meal at a time because the portions are quite big. However, if you’re feeling confidently hungry, go ahead and order as much as you think you’ll be able to eat. :)

Service: The service is not only fast, but also friendly. However, you might have to wait a while for some dishes as they take longer to prepare than others.

The cleanliness of the restaurant is impressive considering that it is an “open-air” restaurant.

The only negative aspect about Kasalong that I could find was the fact that when you leave the restaurant you would probably have a few mosquito bites. This is because it is an open-air restaurant and you are surrounded by beautiful decorative flowers and trees.

Over all: One of my favorite restaurants in Chiang Mai.

Pros: Great food and drinks, Good location and vibe, friendly staff

Cons: Mosqiutos - not that bad though

Lovely Little Place - Edit

I've been here several times now and it has never failed to be amazing. It's located in the same compound as a guesthouse by the same name, and the dining area is just about three or four tables atop their pebble garden. They'd be hard-pressed to seat more than ten people at a time!

Wonderful pumpkin and vegetable soups, Tom Yum soup neither too fishy nor too rich with coconut, giant vegan burgers with fresh avocado and beautiful salads, perfect sweet-and-sour veggies, fresh smoothies where you can taste the fruit, and so much more. Haven't been disappointed by a single item on the menu, even across all these different categories.

The cook/owner guy is adorable, friendly, and a whiz in the kitchen. I really hope he does well!

Pros: Everything's delicious, Nice ambiance, Friendly service

Cons: Low seating capacity, A little slow (one man operation)
