Knowledgeable staff - Edit
I visit Kardish weekly. They have all the standard items you'd expect plus they keep well stocked with the newest products. If they don't have, they can get it. The staff is really knowledgeable about their products and are very helpful. Monthly sales and free workshops.

Too Pricey to Frequent - Edit
Better option is Herb & Spice on Bank in Centre Town, or better yet (though further) is Natural Food Pantry just east of the Byward...
