Good service, delicious food, nice environment

I've been here for breakfast twice now... staff have been friendly and helpful both times, service has been prompt and accurate and the food and coffee (vegan for me and not for a friend) have been excellent.

Pros: Good selection, although bit limited for vegans.

Okay, but not amazing

First visit I was very disappointed. Vegan fish as chips were greasy, looked nothing like the picture, served with more greasy chips. Sticky toffee pudding was nice enough but I have since made both at home myself, with little effort and was WAY better. Have eaten there twice since as I’d gone with friends, and the dishes I had were better (Thai Vegan Scramble and Paleo Nasi Goreng). Nice decor but location not the best as on a main road so wouldn’t be pleasant to sit outside. If you go for dinner ask to be seated upstairs :). Menu and branding very similar to Health Freak but under different name.

Most disappointing service

This was the second time we visited Kapitol kitchen and the service has not improved. The first time we waited over an hour for food to be bought and once it did come out the incorrect food came out. The waitress didn't apologies, instead accused us of ordering the incorrect stuff. The manager was useless and didn't want to rectify the situation.
Anyway 6 months on and we thought we would give it a go again as our previous experience was when they were finding their feet. A part of 4 plus a infant walked in on Sunday morning and we didn't have a reservation. We asked if there was a table and we were happy to wait when a waitress said 'a don't think we have any tables available' without checking. Upon looking inside and and outside the restaurant there was more than 6 available with people leaving after their breakfast. We decided to say ok we will go somewhere else and the last didn't care and said ok. Poor service given the industry they are in.

Cons: Poor service

On the fence

We had the Thai scramble, which was fine, but a bit, I don't know... meh. Whilst we didn't have a bad experience, we didn't leave thinking that it was an awesome breakfast either. Waiting nearly 30 minutes for a coffee and having it arrive halfway through the meal wasn't ideal, either. However, it's a nice place with plenty of options beyond breakfast and we are planning on checking in for dinner sometime soon. There is potential for a higher rating in the future.

Pros: Lots of options, Nice vibe

Cons: Slow coffee

Not a fan

I did not enjoy my experience here. They didn’t have vegan eggs available which is why I went here in the first place. Waited an hr for food and ended up getting watery scrambled tofu and oily potato hash browns .. not worth the price at all!! Staff were apologetic however I won’t be going back

Wanneroo's Best Place to Dine Vegan

It's a cutely modern aesthetic restaurant with hanging plants from the central i-beams and wooden finish everything. It's made to appeal to earthy people I imagine however plastic the finish is.
Unfortunately we went on the first weekend they were open and it took 25 minutes to place our order and 65 minutes from ordering to recieve our food. We had a lot of love for the overwhelmed waitresses though, they did phenomenally for the number and attitudes they had to deal with. The vegan beetroot latte was delish. They had so many vegan options on the menu and all of it is gluten and refined sugar free. I had the zucchini fritter, with gorgeous portobello mushroom, spinnach, tomato, mapled walnuts and pretty much a whole avacado mushed up on top of the fritter. The portion were very generous and it was delicious. It is the nicest place to dine in Wanneroo as a vegan with omnivore parents and sister. Definitely check it out.

Pros: All but 3 options on the menu advertised a vegan a

Cons: The manager stood around watching his waitresses s

Love!

Food here is amazing and with so many vegan options you’re not short on choices. Great place to go with friends and family as they cater to both omnis and vegans. Decor is great too
