Fine if no other options

They had about five vegan things on the menu. Nothing too exciting. I got the Shanghai stirfry which had nice mushrooms and a very bready seitan in a brown sauce. It came with a plain noodle soup. The veggie dumplings were nice, but still nothing I would order again.

Great dumplings

Open late-ish for the jetlagged, and surprisingly very good dumplings for an omni place.

Edit: Turns out there's Kao Chi Xinyi and Kao Chi Xinsheng now only a few blocks from each other -- I went to Xinsheng.

Tasty

This is a great restaurant if you’re eating together with omnis. Kao Chi serves traditional Taiwanese food and they’ve got a fair selection of veggie dishes. This is a favorite for us when we dine with my in-laws (traditional Taiwanese Omnis). Everyone is easily accommodated.

Pros: Fair number of vegan options , Great flavor , Most of the staff speaks English

Cons: Serves meat😉
