A gem in the UK - Edit
Booked a table and travelled a long way for this fully vegan, gluten and nut free restaurant. Service was friendly, atmosphere and decor were amazing, food was full of flavour and colour. Hope the locals look after this independent couple run business, but will happily travel again and again. I was so happy and excited over this meal and it was just what I needed. We weren't rushed and ended up having three courses with sides over 2.5 hours, so this would be a good choice for a special occasion or group. They had a great selection of alcohol free drinks and desserts, which is largely lacking elsewhere.

I had the fake beef poke bowl which was perfect, really good fake meat sub and perfect fresh toppings to go with it. My table also had the tofu poke bowl and curry noodles both of which were great. The pandan, Coconut and lime soda was one of the best drinks ive ever tasted. The pickled shitake mushrooms and homemade kinchi were tasty, only thing i thought was a bit average was the chicken popper starter, was okay but not the most crispy/flavourful. Couldnt recommend more, decoration and cosy ambience was wonderful.

Amazing food (and drinks) - totally vegan - Edit
Everything about this place is excellent, from the imaginative menu to the stunning decor. Totally vegan with a large choice of starters, mains and desserts as well as their home made sodas, all absolutely gorgeous. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Can't recommend it highly enough. Looking forward to our next visit even though we live nearly an hour away.

Made the trip here for an early valentine date, from Manchester, and didnt disappoint. Only issue was the food took quite a while to arrive, but other than that everything was fantastic. Loved the homemade ginger ale.

Kanu Poké is probably the best vegan restaurant in Shropshire. Everything on the menu is vegan, gluten-free and nut-free (including the beer) so it's great for vegans and people with dairy, wheat and nut allergies as you don't have to scour the menu for something you can eat or worry about cross-contamination. The best thing is that there is no compromise on flavour. Everything on the menu is amazing and it's so nice to go out for dinner and have multiple vegan dessert options. The staff are incredibly friendly and the vibe is awesome and unique. I would give it a 6 out of 5 if I could!

We went here for a family meal during a short stay in Shrewsbury. It's "quirky" but in a good way and the fully plant-based (and nut free) menu was great. Excellent service and tasty food. The ice creams were delicious!

All the food is mouth wateringly good. Always try a "meat dish" as they make all their stuff in house and it's sooooo good. To finish always go for a bubble waffles with their homemade ice cream. And anything ube is delicious 😍💜

Always love Kanu Poké, and the new breakfast menu is great. Love the creativity and colourful foods, as always! We've had quite a few takeaway poké bowls recently too and always love these. The crispy tofu in the fire bowl is very moorish!

A good selection of food that is all vegan and gluten free. Visoted here with my husband and daughter. Place had a good atmosphere and friendly staff. I had the Tofu Satay, my daughter had the Popcorn ChicKanu bowl and my husband had the Firecracker Tofu bowl. We all enjoyed our dishes. We also enjoyed the cordial soda drinks.

I absolutely love this place. The food is so delicious but very affordable, the staff are super lovely and helpful and the building itself is so fun. Everything I've had from here has been super flavourful and deliciously balanced. I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area, vegan or not.
