Vegan Gyros on Symi - Edit
It was great to find a possibility to eat something vegan on our trip to Symi. I ordered the vegan Gyros. The staff was friendly. The gyros was a little bit dry but it was also ok to had a vegan mayo onside.

Limited options, poor service - Edit
Pros: had a vegan gyro, one omnivore compatriot couldn’t tell the difference between the vegan and the pork, the other said it was well seasoned and only the texture was notably different.

They have tiny (non-vegan) portions for very cheap (€4) to encourage you to sit down. Then hit you with the actual meals which are 3-4x the price. €15 for a vegan gyro plate.
Service was pretty abysmal. It was a quiet night and they acted like we were an inconvenience. When asked what wine they had (sweet/semi-sweet/dry) they said they didn’t know. We had to prompt them to go find out. They refused a €50 note that we had just got from an atm.

Walked here from the boat, excited to see several tables available. Asked to be seated and she said to me - no, these tables are meant for more people… even though most sat 2 only anyway😒Very rude and disappointing experience.

We were looking for something to eat on Symi and only found this place. We had the vegan gyros and the falafel plate. Portions are huge. The falafel were great but the gyros was a little wobbly. Vegan Options are clearly labeled but it doesn't hurt to mention the word vegan a couple times while ordering since the place can get super busy

It was good they had vegan marked options, which were limited. The 'meat' tasted like it needed cooked more and I hadn't realised til we'd ordered that I had an animal on a kebab spit in my eyeline. The service was fine and didn't need to wait long for food, but I'd try one of the other places next time.

I went in the lull between lunch and dinner and had no problem with service, staff were attentive.

We ordered vegan gyros and it was very good, the portion was big. The waiter told us that the mayonnaise is vegan which was nice that he said it at the beginning. It’s great that you can find something vegan on this small island😄

Went to Symi for a day trip and stopped here for some food before heading to the beach. Had a few vegan plates so got a falafel plate and gyros plate to share. The gyros meat sub was good and crispy and the falafel was a bit soft for me but good flavour. After walking around more there were probably nicer looking places to eat but filled us up for while we were there😄

This place advertises having vegan options. We ordered two vegan gyros plates and ate the food we were given, not knowing what gyros plates were but being happy that there was food that we could eat. When the food had been eaten, the waiter came up to us apologising saying our food was on the way. Confused, we kept asking him what we had eaten. It was pork. Do not trust this place.

Ordered the vegan tortilla which they didn’t have so I had the vegan gyros plate. The service was not that great and when I asked to pay I had to wait around 20 minutes before I could finally pay and leave.

We were so happy to find vegan gyros on the island. It was such a nice treat to be able to sit down and enjoy some food at a sit down taverna (rather than bringing a packed lunch!) the server was confident of the vegan options which was also a relief.

Nice surprise to find vegan gyros on the island - Edit
Ok vegan gyros plate with fries, mustard and chili sauces served on the side. The prices are the similar level as everywhere in the island (quite high). The portion was good size but it was a bit dry.
