Our favourite place! - Edit
Fantastic place.. our favourite!
Read moreMe and my wife are coming here from time to time to enjoy the delicious Malasian streetfood.
We eat vegetarian so i can't anything about the meat dishes but the vegetarian options are always great.
Very friendly workers there, all in the authentic asian street tradition.
I see some folks don't like the fact that tey don't speak Dutch very well?
Ok, but- their kind attitude and great food are THE languages of this small paradise of Roffa Chinatown :)
This place is a must for every Asian food lover...

Spicy vegan dumplings are the bomb! - Edit
Heerlijk eten in dit eenvoudige Aziatisch restaurant. Lekker verse ingrediënten en de spicy vegan dumplings zijn lekkerrrr....! Zo vind je het in wereldsteden. Ook heel goede vega opties.

Don't come if you can't speak Dutch - Edit
The vegan options are not clear on the menu. I ordered the noodles with tofu and green beans, and said I was vegan. The server clearly didn't understand what I was saying. When I got the food it included an egg and anchovies. The food I ate was good, but basically, if you can't speak Dutch, don't bother coming here.

Delicious authentic - Edit
Kampong Express does serve animal products, but: the staff has vegan options clearly labeled on the menu and some of their their very yummy Jian Bing's (stuffed Chinese pancakes) can be made vegan.
Read moreI had the spicy vegan dumplings which were delicious. And a veganized Jian Bing. It was simply too much for a lunch for me but I could not stop eating.
I really had the feeling being back in Asia.
Pros: Authentic taste, Helpful staff, Not expensive
