Our favourite place!

Fantastic place.. our favourite!
Me and my wife are coming here from time to time to enjoy the delicious Malasian streetfood.
We eat vegetarian so i can't anything about the meat dishes but the vegetarian options are always great.
Very friendly workers there, all in the authentic asian street tradition.
I see some folks don't like the fact that tey don't speak Dutch very well?
Ok, but- their kind attitude and great food are THE languages of this small paradise of Roffa Chinatown :)
This place is a must for every Asian food lover...

Spicy vegan dumplings are the bomb!

Don't come if you can't speak Dutch

The vegan options are not clear on the menu. I ordered the noodles with tofu and green beans, and said I was vegan. The server clearly didn't understand what I was saying. When I got the food it included an egg and anchovies. The food I ate was good, but basically, if you can't speak Dutch, don't bother coming here.

Delicious authentic

Kampong Express does serve animal products, but: the staff has vegan options clearly labeled on the menu and some of their their very yummy Jian Bing's (stuffed Chinese pancakes) can be made vegan.

I had the spicy vegan dumplings which were delicious. And a veganized Jian Bing. It was simply too much for a lunch for me but I could not stop eating.

I really had the feeling being back in Asia.

Pros: Authentic taste, Helpful staff, Not expensive
