Basic but good for a small town - Edit

This is a health food store and coffee/lunch bar in one.
The food they serve is usually "soup of the day" which (they told me) is always vegan. However, I once ordered soup and then you get some bread as a side dish, with butter on it. So it is advisable to specifically ask for no butter. And sometimes they "top" the soup with cream or an egg, which is optional. So do ask!
But the soup with bread is always deliciously home made and makes a good filling lunch (large portion). The price is on the expensive side, but hey, it's Norway and it's organic.
They have vegetarian sandwiches too, but no vegan ones as far as I know.

The health food department has quinoa, a selection of veggieburgers, tofu, seitan (not always), falafel, vegan cheese, vegan cream cheese, vegan margarine, Tartex... etc. In fact just the basics you need, and that in a small town!

Pros: friendly staff, good selection of vegan neccesities

Cons: pricing, not everything is always in stock
