The vegan menu here is excellent! Full menu of vegan rolls, apps, and entrees. We went with some Omni friends whose favorite roll ended up being the vegan dragon roll!

Kamakura deserves five stars for their wide variety of vegan options. They have a large fully vegan menu that includes appetizers, different types of sushi rolls, hot dishes, and beverages. I’ve loved everything, but the vegan gyozas/potstickers were absolutely phenomenal! The Welcome to Vegan World Roll was delicious too! #Veganuary

And even their avocado nigiri for my picky 8 year old! This is the first restaurant she vsn eat with us and feel included because she has never liked sushi but she loves avocados.
I'm honestly in awe and in love with this place. I've tried many times to make vegan sushi and it is so hard. They make it seem so easy and it's so delicious!
We dine in and door dash constantly from this place. Hands down my favorite vegan sushi ever!

5 stars!!! Tons of vegan options and a separate vegan menu, the waiters are extremely helpful and kind. I've gotten almost every vegan roll they offer. My favorites are the dragon roll and the welcome to vegan world. Highly recommend even though it's pricey.

The only thing I was sad to lose as a vegan was tuna sushi. This place brought it back into my life. Where other sushi restaurants offer fairly standard options, this place creates works of art that delivers an uncompromising sushi experience.

Honestly the best vegan sushi I’ve ever had. They have an entire vegan menu so it’s easy to find exactly what you you’re looking for. I literally had to have my husband try it the first time cause it was so realistic tasting and the texture was so right I thought they put real fish in it. Just incredible.

This is my favorite restaurant purely because of their glorious sushi menu! There are so so many options and it’s reasonably priced- the perfect go to lunch spot!
Read moreThe only downside is I’ve found their noodle dishes to not be very flavorful. It’s disappointing considering that during their “Tofu Hut” days the japchae was incredible- not sure what they did to it besides swap out the shiitake mushrooms but it’s very bland now. But honestly with such a grand sushi collection you won’t even be thinking about noodles!

Separate vegan menu which is so nice! Lots of things to choose from. Food was delivered quickly and was tasty. Wish I lived locally to try more menu items! The only reason for 4 stars is the tables / benches are such a tight fit. You can't move them. I dined with clients and even though I sat opposite them, and between them, we still kept knocking knees and stepping on feet. Really awkward! Also, leftover containers are styrofoam! Couldn't believe it. Please Kamakura, stop buying styrofoam and get something more sustainable such as compostable paper containers!

The description of this place as having “multiple” vegan rolls is misleading. The vegan menu is massive—it has 31 different vegan nigiri and rolls to choose from, featuring items such as vegan crab and tuna plus a variety of interesting appetizers and entrees. We came here with our five year old and she inhaled the potstickers, crunchy inari, and japchae (not Japanese, but still delish!) while my husband and I stuffed ourselves on the spicy California; dragon; crunchy vegan; and “order first think later” rolls plus several nigiri. Everything was so delicious. I have never experienced sushi like this as a vegan. An unexpected gem in Lacey!

They don't just roll up veggies and say we have vegan sushi. They use mock meats, and the sauces...the sauces are what make this place stand out. There is no other place to get vegan sushi.

This is probably my husbands favorite restaurant! When we first discovered it we came EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND! They have an entire vegan menu with a ton of options. The specialty vegan rolls are DIVINE. The waitress is super friendly and always remembers us!

Admittedly, I can’t think of any other place that has vegan fish and crab rolls, so they don’t have a lot of competition. That being said, the food is delicious, the service is great, and it’s never too busy.
